Design, Operation & Maintenance of Building Systems Part 1 begins this February.

BOMI Canada and BOMA Manitoba have partnered to offer accelerated classroom courses as part of BOMI’s FMA® and RPA® designation programs.

The first course offering is Design, Operation & Maintenance of Buildings Systems Part 1 and will follow up with other courses during the year allowing students to work towards the completion of their designations. Accelerated courses are an excellent way to take BOMI courses. The availability of an instructor assists the students in mastering the material required for the exam.

Design, Operation & Maintenance of Building Systems Part 1

This course provides information property and facility managers will need to know to manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of building systems and to maximize building efficiency and cost-effectiveness. It will also provide information about building design and construction, project delivery, construction material, and HVAC systems. Other areas of interest that are covered in this course include: roofing systems, ceilings and floorings, interior walls, and plumbing systems.

Registration Fees

The course registration fee for Design, Operation & Maintenance of Building Systems Part 1 accelerated course is $1,100. If you are currently in a designation program there are no additional fees. If you register for this course by January 13th, you will receive a $100 credit towards the purchase of your next accelerated course. If you are not currently enrolled in either the FMA® or RPA® designation programs there is a one-time $210 enrollment fee or a course-by-course enrollment fee of $80 per course.

Effective January 1, 2012 BOMI Canada will no longer charge GST and HST on registration or course-related fees.
