WHAT ROLES HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED WITH IN BOMA?
I have judged the Pinnacle Customer Service Award the last two years, I am on the Membership Committee, Holiday Luncheon
Committee and Building Young Professionals Committee.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS YOU SEE IN BECOMING A MEMBER?
The ability to meet likeminded individuals that have a passion for what they do, the relationships, friendships and network that has
been created. Being a BOMA member has helped my career because the people in the room want to work with people they like and
trust – which is developed from going to events and spending time with them.

HOW DO YOU THINK BECOMING A MEMBER HAS HELPED YOU IN YOUR CAREER?
I have always loved the sense of community when you come to the luncheons. Everyone at the table is engaging and typically you
have the opportunity to meet the person you need to in order to start a working relationship.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A MEMBER?
My network has grown and I have truly started to see the value in referrals. I have also developed relationships with new contacts by
introducing them to my network and really leveraging the connections I’ve made at the luncheons.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO NEW MEMBERS AND THOSE WHO AREN’T AS ACTIVE?

Get involved. Sit with new people at every lunch. Reach out to the BOMA office about supporting the organization (for example,
getting involved in a committee). With BOMA, like anything else, you get back what you put in – I’ve considered my membership an
investment that has yielded a very high return for me.
