“We’ve been thinking about sustainability more and more over the years,” he says,
“and it’s become very important for us as a company. We’re really trying to take
personal ownership and minimize the negative impact that our operations have on the
environment.”
With ACM, the Antex partners have certainly taken environmental stewardship to the
next level, investing in people, a research lab, and the newest technology towards a bold
goal. “We’re committed to helping reduce the world’s dependency on Portland Cement,”
explains Kolas, noting that cement production is a significant contributor of CO2.
Kolas and his partners decided that a formal R&D mandate was in order: to “develop
construction materials that were either low Portland cement or no cement. And
that’s where Reazzo® was born. Reazzo® is basically a cement terrazzo with a 50%
Pine Ridge Golf Club reduction in Portland cement,” he says. The product is composed of locally sourced,

In the interim, you’ll likely see ‘AW’ trucks with more frequency at job sites around
Winnipeg, with crews working on everything from ceilings to floors, Reazzo® included.
