       Building Owners and Managers Association

     Membership

     Chair:          Karen Lund (Morguard)

                     John Warnica (LOWE Mechanical Services Ltd.)
                     Sue Ziemski (Artis REIT)

     The  Membership  Committee  promotes  the  benefits  of  membership  in  the  business
     community,  recruits  new  members  and  facilitates  the  approval  of  new  member
     applications.  Although the majority of BOMA Manitoba member firms are based in
     Winnipeg, companies with regional offices in other cities may also be members (the
     territory of Nunavut also falls within the BOMA Manitoba regional boundaries.)
     Principal members develop, own and/or manage commercial property including office,
     industrial,  institutional,  and  retail  buildings.  Other  membership  categories  include
     Professionals (architects, engineers, designers, lawyers, brokers, and consultants) and
     Allied service and supply members.

     The  Marketing  and  Development  Committee  is  responsible  for  identifying  pertinent
     issues  and  topics  of  interest  or  importance  to  the  BOMA  membership,  and  for
     coordinating monthly luncheon presentations and special events.

     The  committee  is  also  responsible  for  developing  and  executing  the  association’s
     annual  marketing  plan,  ensuring  that  BOMA’s  communications,  advertising,  and
     promotional goals have been met.
