Despite requesting to be included Thank you to our Advocacy Committee Chair Darren Klassen (Colliers International),

          Urban Development Institute
          to participate, both of whom
          threatened legal action against
          the city on this matter.
          The City’s decision to exclude
          BOMA is disappointing and,
          quite frankly, very surprising,
given what we believe has been
          a good working relationship
          between BOMA and the public
          service, and a cordial relationship
          with our elected officials. And
          the decision also sends an
          interesting message: negotiating
in good faith and limiting our
          public criticism of government
          policies and proposals are not
traits that are admired or valued
          by the City.

          However, we will continue to
          advocate for our members on
this matter and others. And our
          BOMA office and Advocacy
          Committee is certainly willing
and able to be more vocal on this
          issue in the months ahead.
