Certificate Programs
BOMI is offering a Facilities Management Certificate (FMC), Building Systems Maintenance
Certificate (SMC), Property Administrator Certificate (PAC), and Property Management
Financial Proficiency Certificate in three classes to be completed in any offering
(accelerated review, self-study or on-line) within a one-year period. This is an excellent
option for students unable to commit to a full designation program.
Three classes in one year earns you a certificate as well as an introduction into both the
RPA® and FMA® Designation programs as your credits (and your fee) are transferable!

The Building Operators & Engineers Group

The Building Operators & Engineers Group
is a BOMA initiative, whose purpose is
to provide continuing education and
networking opportunities for building
engineers, operations staff and trades
professionals employed in the industry.
We’re pleased to put together a dedicated offering for this group of building professionals,
which includes breakfast meetings for our B.O.E.G. members to exchange ideas, share
knowledge, and hear from other industry experts. Also included in the offering will be
building site visits, and classroom sessions in pursuit of professional designation and
certificate programs.

Operators, building engineers and tradespeople are a critical part of the building
management industry. We believe that our B.O.E.G. offering serves BOMA’s mission
well, and moves us towards our vision of a prosperous and sustainable buildings
industry in Manitoba.
