The Building Conference – Save the Date!
Please make sure to Save the Date for The Building Conference, scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
This full day event at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre, is dedicated entirely to designing, building, and managing commercial and institutional buildings. The conference combines a tradeshow/product expo, educational seminars, panel discussions and a keynote luncheon.
Our exhibitor showcase will once again highlight the latest technologies and building products for the building industry.
Now in its 11th year, The Building Conference is an annual joint effort of the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA) and BOMA.

2025 BOMA Golf Classic (SOLD OUT)
A friendly reminder for those already registered for the BOMA Golf Classic presented by MJ Roofing:
Event Date: Wednesday, August 20th
Location: Elmhurst Golf & Country Club
Event Details: Registration and BBQ lunch starting at 10:30 a.m.; Shotgun start at 12:00 noon.
Cost: $240 per player (includes lunch, round of golf, cart, post-round reception, great prizes!)

New Funding Initiative for audits, technical studies, recommissioning, BOMA BEST certifications and more!
As part of the BOMA Enspire program, funding is now available for building audits, technical studies, recommissioning, monitoring systems, green building certifications and support for major retrofit enablement for eligible Class B & C buildings across Canada.
Participants can receive up to 80% of eligible costs, with a combined project cap of up to $125,000 per building (depending on building size) across different activities.
BOMA Enspire is a national retrofit support program that connects building owners and operators across Canada with experts to identify upgrade opportunities and guide their retrofit journeys.
Enrolment is free and participants have access to practical funding opportunities, resources, expert advice, and education sessions to support enhanced energy performance and seamless project development. Visit the BOMA Enspire website to register or to find out more.

We are currently accepting presentation abstracts for our Q3/Q4 BOMA Industry Breakfasts and for The Building Conference (scheduled for October 21, 2025). If you have a relevant building or construction topic/subject that you’d like to present, please let us know!
Note to presenters: BOMA breakfast sessions (including conference sessions) must provide education value on a topic or technology specific to the building industry. They cannot be sales pitches for a proprietary technology or service offering.
