The 2025 Building Conference was an incredible day of learning, networking, and innovation!

It started strong with the Breakfast Panel, “Building Big: A Conversation on Major Public Projects in Manitoba“, moderated by Tom Sparrow. Panelists Scott Stephanson, Steven Spry, and Linda McCusker shared insights, sparking engaging conversations and giving attendees valuable perspectives from industry leaders.

Morning and afternoon education sessions delivered practical strategies and innovative solutions for professionals across the industry, offering takeaways that could be put into action.

Keynote Luncheon was a highlight, with moderator Jaime Mann guiding a dynamic discussion as Genevieve Mushaluk shared her inspiring story of resilience, and although she couldn’t give us all the spoilers for the 50th season she did answer some burning questions from devoted Survivor fans.

Our tradeshow floor was buzzing with excitement, with attendees exploring the latest technologies and products. Mac Tower took home Best Booth Design for their outstanding use of technology to create their striking backlit display, while Lowe Mechanical won Most Engaging Booth, inviting guests to join their fun contest and connect in conversation.

A huge thank you to our presenters, panelists, exhibitors, attendees, and sponsors who made this event possible. Your energy, creativity, and engagement made this year’s Building Conference one to remember!
