The annual BOMA Golf Classic presented by MJ Roofing was held on August 5th at Elmhurst Golf & Country Club. A huge THANK YOU to our presenting sponsor MJ Roofing and to all of our event sponsors, hole sponsors, participants and prize donors for another fun day on the course!
Thanks to the generous support of all involved, BOMA is also pleased to donate $8,000 from this year’s tournament proceeds to our event’s charitable partner, The Dream Factory!

BOMA’s fall 2026 season begins with our Fall Mixer at L40 – 300 Main! This member networking event will be held in place of a monthly luncheon.
We look forward to a fun afternoon with BOMA members (and their guests), featuring great conversations, appetizers and beverages catered by Earls AND some fantastic views from the 40th floor of Winnipeg’s tallest building – 300 Main.

The Building Conference – Save the Date!
Please make sure to Save the Date for The Building Conference, scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
This full day event at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre, is dedicated entirely to designing, building, and managing commercial and institutional buildings. The conference combines a tradeshow/product expo, educational seminars, panel discussions and a keynote luncheon.
Our exhibitor showcase will once again highlight the latest technologies and building products for the building industry.
Now in its 12th year, The Building Conference is an annual joint effort of the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA) and BOMA.

Foundations of Real Estate Management – Fall 2026
We’re currently preparing our Foundations of Real Estate Management course, scheduled for Fall 2026. If you would like to sign up, please contact BOMA Executive Director Tom Thiessen.
This six-day (30-hour) program is perfect for those who are new to commercial real estate OR simply looking to build a stronger CRE foundation. It covers core topics like building systems, maintenance, asset management, leasing and financials, and also includes behind-the-scenes tours of local buildings.
Participants receive a course manual, a certificate, and credit towards a BOMI designation.
