Although intellectual property, data and privacy may not come to mind in the context of commercial real estate, new technologies are becoming part of the norm in owning and managing buildings, and with those new technologies there are associated risks and opportunities. This presentation will highlight the particular areas of risk in intellectual property, data and privacy for property owners and managers and steps that can be taken to manage those risks. The presentation will also explore areas in information, data and technology that owners and property managers can utilize to create value in their business.
